Oh yeah, another day in paradise doin what I love. So this time I was contacted by a fabulous couple to photograph a private ceremony a the Temecula Courthouse. On a week day. Why not!?  A much welcomed break from the norm of the 200 person wedding and 10 person bridal party :0  Not gonna lie, I love the action of a good party! !! but they can be exhausting and being a wedding photographer in Temecula <\/a>typically means being contacted for a lot of wine country weddings<\/a>. I think there are something like 35 wineries in Temecula now.. and any given weekend there are weddings going on at each of them, many have multiples daily. My favorite to photograph at is Ponte for a number of reasons I wont go into and its [intentionally] the only vendor list we have put ourselves on in the area. So I guess its befitting that our shoot today ended there.<\/p>\n

BUT before I get ahead of myself, I really shouldve started by saying these kinds of ceremonies are soooo refreshing to be a part of and some of my favs for totally different reasons. I love approaching the day differently, ya know? no distraction of details, massive guest list or a bridal party.. its a totally different vibe and flow. No fancy dresses or flowers… heck, these two didnt even have rings, they [like the wonderfully artistic souls they are] ended up drawing rings on one another up front after vows. It was pretty damn cool to witness, never seen that before.  I mean, when I rolled up and it was seriously just the 2 of them with their son, until an officiant and witness rolled up… but that was it.<\/p>\n

Photographed the quick ceremony and then rolled back to their pad and we did a lifestyle\/ day in the life kind of thing. Oliver banged on tools in the wood shop while Marie and Robert looked on. These guys are artists in the true sense of the word. Crafty crafters, and by far Temecula’s best pottery designers<\/a> [IMO]  and Im not just biased cause I got to hang out for the day and poke around their art studio scoping all kinds of cool wooden and ceramic creations… these guys are the real deal.  We are definitely lookin to add some of their goodness into my home… and if your pad could use a touch of modern, hit up their online store of modern ceramic goodness<\/a><\/p>\n
