Your Inner Song in Atomic Ranch Magazine

Well this is pretty cool! and outside our normal realm of wedding photography :) Today I came home to find a package waiting for me at the door from Atomic Ranch [5 magazines] featuring an architectural shoot I did for a former groom.  If you have never heard of it before, Atomic Ranch is a magazine put out quarterly that focuses on midcentury houses [from 1940s ranch tracts to 1960s architect-designed modernist homes] and the affordable renovations of their homeowners. Lots of cool and unique ideas inside!

So howd we get in the magazine, right?   Francisco was a groom of ours when we first were starting the business…    side note==>I think we did their wedding at the Admiral Kidd Club in San Diego for like $600 or something ;) To this day I can still say that it was probably the one that made me positive that I wanted to do wedding photography. I gotta dig up and back log their eshoot and wedding so you can see exactly what Im talking about as words do little justice to the task of describing Francisco and Genelle but take my word for now that they are the kind of people [great chemistry] that you just want to be around.>>>

Anyhow,  Francisco owns The Building Workshop and needed photos taken of a project he had been working on. I didnt know a thing about architectural photography… I had just recently began doing wedding photography, only had a handful of weddings under my belt/  still I took it on and [50D at the time] went in and shot the place up. Came out pretty well apparently as months later here we are :)  take a look.
